CPD masterclasses: Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting

“As ‘Be Responsible’ is one of BiU’s core values, in light of the growing concern and potential restrictions that may be put in place for Coronavirus, we want to protect the health of our delegates and staff alike, but also play our part in the UK wide effort to minimise the impact the virus could have by taking a delay approach to our events. As a result we’ll be postponing our Masterclass and net zero Insight events till September 2020, with dates to book on due shortly.”
Almost 12,000 large companies in the UK will soon be required to publicly report on their energy use and carbon emissions, under the new Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR) rules.
To help companies get to grips with their obligations, energy compliance experts from BiU will hosting a series of events across the country this spring. Delegates will learn about what’s needed to comply with SECR, and how to turn obligation into profit.
The events take place this March and April, in London, Nottingham and Edinburgh. Delegates can choose between a daytime SECR masterclass, or a bitesize evening SECR seminar, both of which are CPD accredited.
