We welcome contributions and collaboration! If you’re an I&C energy user, a mover and shaker in the regulatory landscape, or you’ve simply got a perspective to share, we’d love to hear from you.

Here are some short editorial guidelines to help you understand what we’re looking for.

Who owns The Energy Advice Hub?

The Energy Advice Hub is powered by Sustainable Energy First – the UK’s leading energy and carbon consultancy. It is 100% owned and funded by us as part of our social purpose contribution to UK business energy users. Learn more about us here.

Who is The Energy Advice Hub for?

Energy Advice Hub content is aimed at UK organisations – particularly large energy users with complex energy and decarbonisation challenges.

Our readers include energy and sustainability managers, CSOs, CEOs, finance directors and compliance professionals.

What sort of content are you looking for?

We aim to inform, educate and inspire. So, if you’re an end user with a best practice story to share, we’d love to hear from you. Net zero needs fresh thinking, so if you are taking an innovative approach to getting there, or have a view, get in touch.

We also welcome collaborations with trade bodies, industry and campaign groups who would like to give a voice to their members. Perhaps you would like to react to the latest government energy announcements; or give us your policy wishlist. If you have something to say, email us at hello@sefirst.com to start the conversation.

What topics do you cover?

We cover everything related to organisations’ energy and decarbonisation challenges, including (but not limited to):

  • Compliance/reporting, e.g. ESOS, SECR and TCFD
  • Current and future energy policy
  • Energy procurement
  • Energy efficiency/demand reduction
  • Net zero – including target setting, roadmaps, transition plans etc.
  • Low carbon technologies – current and future
