What is the cost of ESOS phase 2?

Unless they have a qualified ESOS lead assessor in-house, most companies will be appointing an external company to carry out or oversee their ESOS audits.

The cost for this service will vary greatly depending on service offered, and the size/complexity of your organisation (for example, an organisation with offices, factories and retail sites will be very different to a company with office space only).

Most lead assessors agree on one thing though: ESOS compliance fees will sky rocket nearer the deadline due to limited availability of lead assessors. So it’s important to start the process now if you haven’t already.

On a positive note – the Government estimates that by implementing ESOS audit recommendations, companies can achieve savings 13.5 times greater than the cost of the audit.
